Jackpot! Ryan Got A Hooters Room Upgrade

Well I will mark this as a "YES" for an upgrade just for the simple fact we went from the 3rd floor that didn't have much of a view to the 11th floor that over looked the pool. Sure the window could have been a bit more clean from the outside so we could see a bit better but the amount of time we spent in the room we are not sure it was worth it. A side note there was another male that was standing with our hotel clerk as he was getting trained in. I'd have imagined that IF she was all alone we'd have got a much better room.

No Dice For DN at Hooters...

I don't think he fully understood what was going on cause after i asked him for the upgrade he continued processing my check in and then asked what the 20 dollars was for. I told him to see if there was any upgrades available and he kind of laughed half assed and then kept the money.

Checked in around 4pm, had the $20 sandwiched, the employee saw it and quickly slid it to the side.I asked for an upgrade and I think that if there would have been something she would have given it to me.We did get a higher floor with a fabulous view. I don't feel like the money was wasted, I received excellent customer service and since it seems like your tipping all the time in Vegas anyway, why not the front desk?

No Dice For Frankie D at Hooters...

I had a comp an was told a mini suite wasn't ready or I could have a regular room now. I choose the mini suite and waited. When I went back for my key I showed the 20 and asked if there were any upgrades available. I was told yes for 75 additional dollars. I took the mini suite which was nothingmore than a regular room with a view.

Jackpot! Heidi Got A Hooters Room Upgrade

Arrived in Vegas at 9AM and headed straight for Hooter's pool, at around 1PM we checked with the front desk, I put the $20 between my DL & CC and started chatting away about how great the pool was and wouldn't a poolside bungalow be nice. The clerk see's the $20, holds it out a little and asks "what's this?" I said it's a tip, you deserve it. She told us about the rooms and basically let us decide which type we would like. We weren't offered a suite or anything but did get the room we wanted. frontdesktip rocks - I'll be spreading the word.

No Dice For superdrew at Hooters...

Had the $20 in plain sight for the clerk and asked about any complimentary suite upgrades and was shot down. Asked how much for a suite upgrade and was told there were none available.

I really enjoyed the hotel and ended up with a nice strip view. The rooms were very nice, and it was a short walk to the Casino and out the door. Pool was decent, but nothing fancy. The only negative were the front desk clerks (and no, not because I didn't get an upgrade) because they were slow, and there weren't nearly enough of them to take care of the guests.
