No Dice For Ben at Circus Circus...

I gave the clerk the $20 sandwich, but she handed the $20 straight back to me. No luck at all. :-(

Jackpot! Brian Got A Circus Circus Room Upgrade

We checked in around 2:00 AM on a Saturday. There was a moderate line, it took us about 10 minutes to get a clerk. My girlfriend had overheard another clerk tell a guest that all upgraded rooms have been booked.

When we were called, I put the 20 between the drivers license and credit card and asked about an upgrade before giving her the cards. She gave me the same response without checking the computer; that all rooms were booked. I apologized, and tried to palm the 20 back into my pocket. I guess she noticed what I was doing and saw the money... She started typing on her keyboard, and in a few minutes told me that she could get me into one of the newer, remodeled rooms. I couldn't believe it! I tucked the twenty under the agreement and thanked her profusely. She ended up giving us a 2 for 1 at their buffet (Not recommended, but the price was right) and $25 in free slot play. I'm not sure if that usually comes with the room, but free is free!

We got into a tower room on the 28th floor overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard. It definitely looked remodeled; inside was a comfortable bed, super soft pillows, and an LCD TV (w/o cable). It was worth every penny, and got us out of the dreaded manor rooms!

Jackpot! Shawn Got A Circus Circus Room Upgrade

Slipped the license and $20, and asked if there were any free upgrades. Did not try to hide the $20, and looked in the computer for a room. Said every time she found a roob, it got booked before she could save it for us. After 3 tries, we got a mini suite. View wasnt the best, but it was a nice large room, and that is more important to us than a view, so we were very satisfied. Definately worth $5/night.

Jackpot! Logan Got A Circus Circus Room Upgrade

So the wife and I made a real quick impromptu trip to Vegas and we were looking for the cheapest room possible. Well on travelocity they had a cheap motor lodge room for the few days we were going to be there. Well on check in we did the trick and once the lady saw the twenty bucks sticking out she gave us an enthusiastic "sure" when we asked for an upgrade. She gave us a nice room on the 28th floor with a King bed and a huge bathroom. Well worth the 20 bucks. Thanks for the tips

We were upgraded to a tower room overlooking the strip. The Clerk would not take the $20 either.
