Las Vegas Casino Players Club News

Casino players clubs are a great way to save money in Las Vegas. Just being a member can bring discounts on hotel rooms, meals and more. As you spend money with casinos that belong to certain loyalty clubs, you can climb in tier status and receive better benefits.

If you’re looking for ways to get the most for your money when visiting Las Vegas it’s important to keep up on different players club benefits. Las Vegas players clubs change policies about once every 12-18 months. There’s always something new to learn about your favorite casino and players club.

When they first started, players clubs were used to keep gamblers loyal. The majority of revenue back then came from people gambling in the casino. That’s no longer the case. Gambling now accounts for 25% – 33% of revenue for many casino operators on the Vegas Strip. Many casino operators have adapted to the change in spending used for players clubs.

Today you can earn players club points at some properties from any kind of money spent. Certain players clubs will offer reward points for purchasing a pack of gum in the gift shop to a day in the spa. Meanwhile, others will only offer points when you’re spending money at the tables or machines in the casinos. Earning and using points has never been more widespread. Here’s a look at some of the newest changes.

Golden Nugget and Landry’s

This is a new and unique casino players club partnership that actually offers rewards outside of Las Vegas. Members of the Golden Nugget 24 Karat Select Club can now redeem players club comps at all Landry’s restaurants around the country. Landry’s restaurants include Chart House, Morton’s Steakhouse, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company and over 500 restaurants altogether. You can find more information on the Golden Nugget’s 24k Select Club here.

Station Casinos Boarding Pass Adds Palms

Earlier this year Station Casinos purchased the Palms hotel and casino. The deal recently closed and the Club Palms players club is being migrated into Station Casinos Boarding Pass players club. You can see how your Club Palms tier and points transfer to Boarding Pass here. The good news for anyone with points at Palms is that players club points can now be earned and used at all Station Casinos properties including Red Rock Casino and Green Valley Ranch.

Boyd B-Connected Players Club Adds Aliante Casino

Boyd Gaming went on a Las Vegas casino shopping spree earlier this year when they purchased Aliante, Cannery and Eastside Cannery casinos. The transfer of Aliante was the first to go through and the North Las Vegas casino is now a Boyd Gaming property. You can now earn and use B-Connected points at the casino. However, the deal is so fresh that you might not see Aliante integrated on the B-Connected website yet. If you don’t see them in the app or on the websites, just give a call. Cannery and Eastside Cannery should become a part of the family shortly. These three casinos join Gold Coast, Orleans, and other Boyd Gaming properties around the country.

M Life Rewards Expands East

MGM Resorts has one of the largest casino players clubs in the country and it’s growing rapidly. M Life Rewards is expanding to the east coast over the next few month. MGM National Harbor in Maryland will open in December and become the newest member of MGM Resorts players club. Next year Borgata in Atlantic City will become part of the M Life Rewards players club. This will become a great way for east coast visitors to Las Vegas to earn points near home to use at Aria, MGM Grand, and other MGM Resorts properties.
