Restaurants Where You Can Dine Lakeside At Bellagio

BellagioNight

Bellagio has given off an air of luxury ever since opening in 1998. This casino and resort was built to be at the highest end of luxury in Las Vegas. Nearly 20 years later the property still offers that same feeling. There are other luxury resorts in Las Vegas but few are at the level of Las Vegas.

The concept for Bellagio comes from the mind of Steve Wynn. Lake Bellagio is one of the many beautiful features at the property. Not only does this lake look beautiful but it offers the best free activity in Las Vegas. The free fountain shows run every 15 or 30 minutes depending on the day and time.

  • Monday – Friday: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes
  • Saturday & Holidays: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes
  • Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. show every 1/2 hour 7:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. show every 15 minutes

Dining At Lake Bellagio

The fountain show is beautiful and free for everyone. However, you can watch the fountain shows on the other side of the Lake Bellagio. Viewing from the casino side of the lake will usually cost a few bucks. However, this may the best seat in the house for the fountain shows.

When designing the Bellagio, Steve Wynn was sure to offer a handful of restaurants that sat right on the lake. These aren’t just any restaurants. They are probably the best restaurants you’ll find at Bellagio. It’s shocking that they would put the best dining options in the most premium location.

Steve Wynn no longer operates Bellagio, but MGM Resorts has continued the tradition of fine dining on Lake Bellagio. Here’s a look at the restaurants and a nightclub where you can eat, drink and be merry right on the lake.

  • Lago – Michelin-decorated Chef Julian Serrano offers small plates of Italian food that are made for sharing.
  • Olives – Todd English puts a modern spin on Italian favorites and a variety of Mediterranean dishes.
  • Picasso – Paintings from Pablo Picasso inside, the Bellagio fountains outside and some of the finest dishes from France and Spain. How does that sound?
  • Prime – Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten brings you one of the best steakhouse experiences in Las Vegas.
  • Jasmine – This restaurant doesn’t offer outside seating but you can enjoy the Asian dining with a beautiful view.
  • Hyde – Make no mistake about it, Hyde is a nightclub. If you aren’t into nightlife, the club opens at 5 p.m. and is a great place to grab a drink and watch the fountain show.

Word of caution – these restaurants may not allow you to reserve patio seating. I recommend that you arrive 20-30 minutes before your reservation and grabbing a pre-dinner cocktail while a table they prepare a table.
