The summer is here and it’s time to enjoy the beautiful weather outside. There are few things more enjoyable than sitting outside and enjoying a nice adult beverage. There are more outdoor drinking options than ever in Las Vegas. However, some of the best bars to grab a drink outside are Vegas classics.

Here are 5 great places sit outside and enjoy a drink or two or three. I’m feeling generous so I’ll even give some additional options at the end.

Foundation Room (Mandalay Bay)
The Foundation Room was once a members only bar and club atop Mandalay Bay. That changed a couple of years ago and it’s now open to everyone. The inside of the bar and restaurant is architecturally interesting but not the best feature. Grab a cocktail and head out to the patio for one of the best views of Las Vegas.

Patio Bar (Four Queens)
This is one of the best bars in downtown Las Vegas for multiple reasons. It’s next to the Third Street stage where you can watch free entertainment nightly. Since it’s located right on Fremont Street you can enjoy the best people watching and the freak shows that make up the real Fremont Street Experience. Look up at nights and see the awesome hourly video shows on the canopy above.

Budweiser Beer Park (Paris)
This beer playground is located about 100 steps above the center of the Vegas Strip. If a view matters most when drinking outside, you have a sweet view from the Bellagio to Caesars Palace. If you’d rather drink like you’re in a friends backyard there are plenty of games to play like cornhole and giant Jenga.

Parasol Down (Wynn)
Over the years this has become one of the best indoor/outdoor bars in Las Vegas. During the day you’ll experience calm waters and lush greenery outside of Parasol Down. At night you’ll see the one-of-a-kind “Lake of Dreams” show on the water. Add some of the best cocktails in Las Vegas and you have a great experience.

Beerhaus (The Park)
This bar at The Park (next to New York-New York) is one of the newest to open on the Vegas Strip. Even though it’s only been open for a few months Beehaus is proven to be a great indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant. The beer menu is one of the best on the Vegas Strip and the food is better than you’d expect at a bar. The open space of The Park allows for lots of room to sit, wander or play games.

Honorable Mentions: Yardhouse (The Linq), Whiskey Liquor (Binion’s), Cabo Wabo & PBR Rock Bar (Planet Hollywood) and Rhumbar (The Mirage). This list could probably go on forever.
