Pool Season in Las Vegas

Pool Season in Las Vegas unofficially gets underway today as Mandalay Bay Beach, Encore Beach Club and Marquee Dayclub at the Cosmopolitan are all open for business. In the next few weeks, other dayclubs and pools will begin opening their doors for business. Tao Beach Club at The Venetian opens on March 10 while Rehab at Hard Rock and Wet Republic at MGM Grand both open on March 11.

Pool season will officially kick off on different dates for each property but they don’t shift into high gear until the unofficial start of summer, Memorial Day Weekend. There’s really no reason to wait until it’s unofficially summer to take a dip. Temperatures in Las Vegas are already touching the 80’s and the 90’s aren’t far away.

Pool season never entirely goes away as there are some pools open all year around so it’s not like pool life will rise from the ashes. However, today is a special day as it not only marks the opening of dayclubs for the year but the opening of one of the largest and most popular family pools in Las Vegas.

Mandalay Bay Beach has always been popular but it’s grown into quite a pool complex over the years. There’s a faux beach pool, multiple pools and a lazy river. There are even concerts at night at Mandalay Bay Beach

There's a beach in Las Vegas!

Rehab at the Hard Rock may have been the first daylife pool party but Encore Beach Club took the party to a new level when it opened at Encore in 2010. Six years later Encore Beach Club still sets the tone for all other dayclubs to follow. The video below is a reveal of the top notch entertainment you’ll find this summer at Encore Beach Club.

Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan has been one of the hottest clubs in Las Vegas since opening. Marquee Dayclub has followed that popularity by bringing the energy outside above the Vegas Strip. Every day that the dayclub is open is an event. Here’s video from a random afternoon at Marquee Dayclub last year to give you an idea what the “average” day is like.

If the intensity of dayclub isn’t your thing there are more pools open where you can relax. The renovated pool at Golden Nugget is already open. This is probably the premier pool destination in downtown Las Vegas. If you’re ready for pool season in Las Vegas You can also catch some rays at Aria, Bellagio, Downtown Grand, Green Valley Ranch, Red RockStratosphere, The Venetian and more.
