The Budweiser Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas just opened above Hexx and it’s cooler than you might think. The corporate branding is sometimes a turnoff but the location, views, patio setup and full bar don’t disappoint. In fact, the Beer Park is destined to become one of the more popular places to drink outside on the Vegas Strip.

Let’s start with the elephant in the room. The Beer Park has 100 different types of beer from Budweiser which isn’t so exciting for beer snobs (like me). Thanks to partnerships with other breweries, the bulk of the beer in bottles and on tap aren’t actually Budweiser beer. You can see the beer menu here. In addition, to the large variety of beer they have a full bar and make a good number of specialty cocktails. There’s really something for everyone to drink and there’s park-like food burgers and hot dogs to eat. The food isn’t fancy but kind of a perfect fit for the bar.

The biggest win at the Beer Park might be its beautiful view of the Vegas Strip. You can snag a bar stool or a picnic table and see all the way from the Cosmopolitan to Caesars Palace with a straight shot looking directly at Bellagio. It might be difficult to see the fountain shows at Bellagio through the trees in between the two properties.

When I visited Beer Park there were more people playing a variety of games or relaxing with food and drink instead of taking in the beautiful view. The games are similar to those you’d find at a normal bar or at Gold Spike in downtown Las Vegas. Games include giant Jenga, corn hole, shuffleboard and billiards. There was also a randomly placed child size tricycle under one of the tables. There must be a story behind that but it’s probably best left as a mystery.

This is a Beer Park and it has two large  square bars with seating for almost 100 people. Both bars weren’t needed on Thursday afternoon I visited as there were more people eating and drinking at picnic tables or playing games. There are multiple TV’s for watching the games and they’ll probably have more out for large events like March Madness. As previously mentioned in addition to stocking 100 different types of beer, each bar is fully stocked with spirits for mixed drinks and specialty cocktails.

If paying $8-$10 per beverage (beer or mixed drink) with a great view of the Vegas Strip isn’t a bother then the Budweiser Beer Park might be your kind of bar. The view is great, the games are fun and there’s easy access to a quick bite. This isn’t the most groundbreaking concept but the Beer Park is a great use of space and is sure to grow in popularity as people realize that it’s open.
