More Than 40 New Things To See And Do In Las Vegas This Year

Posted on Categories Hotels

One of the reasons so many people visit Las Vegas each year is that there is always something new to see or do. Casino operators are constantly reinventing their properties. Some of the changes may be as simple as a new hotel room design (no less than eight properties will have new rooms available before the year is over) or a new restaurant.

Some Las Vegas casinos will undergo major renovations that touch everything from the casino floor to the hotel rooms. Monte Carlo, Palms and Palace Station will each see major changes throughout the year. Monte Carlo will even see a new name, Park MGM.

Shows come and go so often in Las Vegas that it’s difficult to keep up with what’s confirmed and definitely happening. Keeping track of the shows leaving is even more difficult. Personally, I don’t have the patience to sit around and watch most shows. There’s so much more to do in Las Vegas than sitting around and I’d rather keep track of those things.

Leisure travelers on vacation aren’t the only people that will see a new Las Vegas. In 2018 and beyond there will be new and upgraded meeting and convention spaces. MGM Resorts is going so far to create a wellness meeting space. The Stay Well meeting rooms at MGM Grand will compliment the Stay Well hotel rooms.

Here are more than 40 new things you’ll be able to enjoy in Las Vegas in 2018. This isn’t a complete list and there will be many more announcements throughout the year. You may notice that some of these became available in 2017 but will be completed this year.
